Once again we had a successful activity. Quite a lot of people attended this activity at Copa in Stone Oaks on Friday night.
We want to thank all of you who were present. We had positive comments in abundance and for that we thank you. It was nice to remember those songs from the 50s and 60s. Those songs that some of us, a little less younger, used to listen to, coming out of the “velloneras”. Remember that?

Who did not swallow hard when Gina Perez offered a Hollywood-caliber rendition of our native poetry.
We met quite a few new people and also joined with a lot of friends of the Association of Puerto Ricans in San Antonio.

I would like to say that I had a great time at the party that was held by the Association of Puerto Ricans in San Antonio, at the Copa in Stone Oak Parkway. I met with allot of wonderful people. They made me feel like I was at home with family. Everyone was so nice. I hope that the Association of Puerto Rican in San Antonio grow. And that more members join. I will surely get the word out. I can’t wait to attend the next meeting. So please keep me posted.
